Most of these features are available only for your albums, not for your friends' albums. With friends' albums, you can copy the photos to your account, delete the album, or delete individual photos. At Snapfish, only the album owner can make changes to an album.
You can write captions of up to 249 characters long for each photo in your album. You can caption one or many photos at a time. Remember: If you have already shared these photos, your friends will see these new captions.
You cannot change the captions in friends' albums. Only the owner of the album can create new captions.
How to caption a single photo
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album and then the photo you want to caption.
Click on the existing caption beneath the photo.
In the pop-up box, write a caption for your photo. The caption can be up to 249 characters long. If the caption is longer than the box, use the scroll bar to the right to scroll down.
When you have finished writing your caption, click 'Save'.
If you decide not to caption your photo, click the 'Cancel' button.
How to caption multiple photos within the same album
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album and then the photo you want to caption.
Click 'Edit this album' in the menu to the right.
On the next page, you will see a caption box to the right of each photo. It contains the current caption.
Using your mouse, highlight the old caption and type over it. Your caption can be up to 249 characters long. If the caption is longer than the box, use the scroll bar to the right to scroll down.
When you have finished with one caption, go on to the next one. You can write the captions in any order you choose.
When you have finished all of the captions, click 'Save changes'.
If you decide not to change the captions, click 'Cancel'. None of your new captions will be saved.
You can rotate any photos in your own albums, either one at a time or all at once. Keep in mind that friends with whom you have shared the album will see any changes you make.
How to rotate a single photo
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album and then the photo you want to rotate.
In the individual photo view, click the 'Rotate' icon at the bottom right of the photo.
A pop-up window will give you the option to rotate your photo to the left or to the right. Click the one you want until your photo is oriented correctly.
Then click 'Save'.
If you want to return to your photo without rotating it, click 'Cancel'.
How to rotate multiple photos within an album
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album and then the photo you want to rotate.
From the 'Photos' tab, click on one of your albums to view it.
Click on 'Edit this album' in the menu to the right.
On the next page, you will see a 'Rotate' icon at the bottom right of every photo.
Click the 'Rotate' icon beneath a photo you want to rotate.
Then click 'Rotate left' or 'Rotate right' until the photo appears as you want it.
Click 'Save changes'.
Repeat with every photo you want to rotate.
If you want to return to your photo without rotating it, click 'Cancel'.
You can copy photos from an existing album to either a new or existing album in your account. Keep in mind that friends with whom you have shared the original album will see any changes you make.

Important: The instructions below depend on the browser and computer you use:
If you use Windows Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher, follow instructions for Click-and-Drag.
If you use a Macintosh (with any browser), follow the instructions for the Numerical Method.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Click-and-Drag
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album you would like to rearrange.
Click 'Edit and organise' in the menu to the right to expand the edit options.
Click 'Rearrange photos'.
Move your mouse until the cursor is positioned over a photo in the album. Then left-click and hold the button down.
Drag the photo to the symbol in the target position. For example, if you want the third photo in the album to move to the first position, click and drag the third photo to the on the left of the first photo.
Once the photo rests over the symbol, release the mouse button. Your photo will settle into its new position.
Repeat this process for as many photos as you want to rearrange.
When you have finished, click 'Save arrangement'.
To return to your photos without rearranging them, click 'Cancel'.
Tip: To reverse the order of all the photos so that the last one is first and the first one is last, click 'Reverse all' near the top of the page. Then, click 'Save arrangement'.
Step-by-Step Instructions for the Numerical Method
From your photo library, click on the album you want to rearrange.
Click 'Edit and organise' in the menu to the right to expand the edit options.
Click 'Rearrange photos'.
Next to each photo, you will see a box with a number in it. That number corresponds to the photo's position in the album.
To move any photo to a new position, place a new number in its box.
When you are finished, click 'Rearrange photos' to put your photos in the order you specified.
To return to your photos without rearranging them, click 'Cancel'.
Tip: To reverse the order of all the photos so that the last one is first and the first one is last, click 'Reverse order' near the top of the page. Then, click 'Rearrange photos'.
You can permanently delete photos from any of your own albums. Once you delete photos, they are gone from your Snapfish account. However, if you have a copy of the photo on your computer, deleting the photo from your Snapfish account will not delete it from your computer's hard drive.
Note: If you delete photos from an album you have shared, your friends will see the updated album without the deleted photos. If you delete an entire album, your friends will no longer be able to view it.
How to delete a single photo
Note: Once a photo is deleted, we cannot restore it to your account.
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album and then the photo you want to delete.
In the individual photo view, click the 'X' at the bottom right of the photo.
A pop-up window will ask, "Are you sure you want to delete the image?"
Click 'Delete photo' to confirm that you want to delete the photo.
If you do not want to delete the photo, click 'Cancel' to return to the photo without deleting it.
How to delete multiple photos within an album
Note: Once photos are deleted, we cannot restore them to your account.
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on the album and then the photo you want to delete.
Click 'Edit this album' in the menu on the right.
Below each photo, you will see a grey 'X'. Click on the X below the first photo that you want to delete.
A pop-up window will ask, "Are you sure you want to delete the image?"
Click 'Delete photo' to confirm that you want to delete the photo.
If you do not want to delete the photo, click 'Cancel' to return to the photo without deleting it.
Repeat for every photo you want to delete.
Note: If you delete every photo in an album, the empty album will be removed from your account. A pop-up confirmation window will appear if this is about to happen.
You can remove any of your albums from your Snapfish account. If you delete an album that you shared, the album will also be removed from the accounts of friends with whom you shared it.
If you remove one of your own albums, that album (and all of the photos within it) will be gone from your Snapfish account, and we cannot restore it. Of course, removing an album from Snapfish does not delete these photo files from your computer's hard drive (or a CD, or wherever else you may have them).
Removing a friend's album from your account does not delete it from your friend's account. It only removes the copy of it from your account.
Note: Once an album is removed, we cannot restore it to your account
Once you've logged-in, roll your mouse over the Photos menu at the top of the page.
Click on Go to your photo library in the menu that appears.
Click on 'Edit and organize' in the menu on the right
Click 'Delete albums'.
Click the empty checkbox next to each album you would like to delete. When you are satisfied with your selections, click 'Delete these albums'.
A confirmation pop-up window will appear that lists the albums you have selected. Click on the 'Delete albums' button to permanently remove these albums from your account.
To return to your photos without deleting them, click the 'Cancel' button.
